Resources for DSA Needs Assessors

UMHAN has produced guidance for Disabled Students Allowances' needs assessors to underpin Assessment  Centres' existing methodologies in relation to assessing the needs of students with mental health difficulties. 

This resource aims to highlight the dynamic, individual, context-specific nature of mental health difficulties, identify key principles when undertaking assessments, and assist in decision-making about different forms of support.
